Students and faculty filed a federal Title IX complaint in 2013 alleging Occidental was deliberately indifferent to reports of rape and sexual battery by fellow students, discouraged reporting, misled victims and retaliated. At least 10 current and former students reached a confidential settlement with the college in 2013.
