About 70 pages of leaked emails and texts allegedly written by members of an underground fraternity discussed rape, including a reference to a woman raped at the house, along with drug deals and slurs.

Status: No charges reported; the university investigated whether to handle the matter internally or refer it to police.

Response: American University called the content reprehensible, opened an investigation and noted it had warned students for years not to associate with the unrecognized group.
