College staff misconduct · Accused: former campus police officer

A former Fort Valley State student reported that a university police officer came to her residence in uniform in 2018, made physical contact with her without her consent, and later called her with numerous explicit sexual comments, according to the GBI.

Status: Resigned in April 2018; arrested in September 2018 after a GBI investigation and charged with two felony counts of violating his oath as an officer, one felony count of bribery and misdemeanor simple battery.
