Anonymous social media posts alleged a sexual assault at a Theta Chi party in September 2021, prompting about 300 people to protest outside the fraternity house.

Status: Allegations made anonymously; no charges reported. The Northwestern District Attorney's Office encouraged survivors to report directly.

Response: UMass said it could not act against the alleged perpetrator or fraternity without a complaint from a survivor or witness.
