Hazing · Phi Kappa Psi (Nebraska Beta chapter)

In February 2017 a recent pledge of the chapter was arrested after an attack on two students on campus. The campus newspaper later reported that initiation activities involving hazing, including forced drinking, came before the attack, in which a student was cut with a pocketknife in her dorm.

Status: The pledge was arrested on felony assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and obstruction charges.

Response: Creighton suspended the chapter and banned the pledge from campus. The national fraternity revoked the charter. The chapter was reported as eligible to return in fall 2026.
