College staff misconduct · Accused: former business school professor and vice chancellor for research
A doctoral student alleged that a Rutgers Business School professor who also served as a vice chancellor repeatedly raped her on campus and at her home starting in 2016 and coerced her into a sexual relationship.
Status: Alleged in a 2018 federal Title IX lawsuit; not criminally charged. A second university investigation found he hindered the inquiry but could not conclusively determine whether assault occurred.
Response: Rutgers suspended him in November 2017 and removed him as vice chancellor in May 2018.
