Hazing · Pi Alpha Nu
Pledges of SUNY Plattsburgh's Pi Alpha Nu fraternity told police they were forced to drink alcohol, eat food off the floor, were urinated and vomited on, and were struck on the buttocks with a paddle at off-campus events in February and September 2017.
Status: 21 students were charged with hazing, criminal nuisance and unlawfully dealing with a child (providing alcohol to minors); six former students were expected to be charged.
Response: College suspended the fraternity.
