College staff misconduct · Accused: former adjunct piano professor, Boyer College of Music and Dance

Years of abuse: 2018-2020

A 20-year-old Temple music student reported that her private piano instructor, an adjunct professor, hugged, kissed and fondled her and forced sexual contact in a practice room in February 2020.

Status: Charged with institutional sexual assault and indecent assault; held for trial in April 2021. Final outcome not verified.

Response: Temple canceled his classes, opened an investigation and said he no longer works at the university.

Sexual assault · Alpha Epsilon Pi

The former president of Temple's AEPi chapter was charged with attempted rape and related offenses over a Feb. 2018 incident; police received at least three reports from women.

Status: Charged (May 2018) with attempted rape, indecent assault and other counts; outcome not reported in source.

Response: Temple suspended all AEPi activity; international fraternity suspended chapter and removed him as president.
